Our Story
Essential Growth Properties is a private equity real estate investment company headquartered in Cincinnati, OH and dedicated towards building, operating, and creating value through the ownership of a nationwide portfolio of essential-based, grocery anchored shopping centers. With our rich history and deep relationships in the grocery retail industry, we are a customer obsessed organization focused on operating first class grocery anchored centers and serving the communities within which we exist.
Our company was formed in 2021 by four partners with over 100 years of collective experience in the grocery retail industry. Their experience includes head of real estate for the largest grocery retailer in the US, principals of a third-party property management company with over 1,000 grocery anchored centers under management through 15 offices nationwide, and leaders of an integrated real estate services platform supporting several of the largest grocery, pharmacy, and essential retailers in the country. Essential Growth Properties’ management team is uniquely positioned and scaled to create value through acquiring and operating grocery anchored centers anywhere in the US. The grocery retail industry is rapidly changing, and through our relationships, experience, and judgment, we are best suited to create value in grocery anchored shopping centers.
